Summary of reviews[edit]

Large reviews with supports

  1. Wehwalt
  2. Dianna
  3. Leadsongdog

Large reviews without final statement

  1. The Rambling Man
  2. Giants

(All remarks implimented (almost all) or commented on.)

Other commenters

  1. Reywas: asked for a name change (declined with rationale)
  2. Afro: a few comments, all met at least partially
  3. Fallshirmjaegar (image expert): checked images (sat), a few upgrades made by him
  4. Mokole (grad student in herpetology): science checked sat, asked for primary refs as well as review ref (done)
  5. Bibliotech: one comment, fixed

Path forward[edit]

1. Are there any unstated issues preventing promotion?

2. Are more reviewers needed? I can get more people to come by (more prose experts, more herpetologists, a US political type, offsite experts). But I really think it has had enough. Seems like review time would be better apportioned elsewhere.

I'm not sure if I'm comfortable assuming that "looks good" is a support when it's not explicitly stated. Have you considered sending LeadSongDog a carefully worded message asking if he meant to support? I think having three clear supports instead of just two would make a difference. I just asked him to clarify.
Will you please indicate if there are any aspects of the article that need fixing/changing or if more review is needed, how many and if they need to "vote".TCO (talk) 02:38, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

While this is all very interesting, I am certain, please be assured that the FL directors will promote the list (or otherwise) when they see fit to do so. In the past we only promoted on one given day a week, and while we are now more flexible than that, please leave it to the directors to form an opinion, rather than produce a summary. Yep. Giants, TRM and I are all busy in real life (as are most editors I imagine), and we can't always promote a list the moment it's ready. I'll try to close some FLCs when I get the chance. Dabomb87 (talk) 14:32, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
