This is a "perfect" featured topic (all featured except Nunavut, which is not featurable). It meets current criteria perfectly well, and no changes are necessary to maintain status.--Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Potential improvements[edit]

A couple of the provincial articles have red links for old elections, such as List of Newfoundland and Labrador general elections and List of Prince Edward Island general elections (post-Confederation); ideally, someone should try to write articles for these. Of course all of the articles should be updated whenever there are new elections in Canada.--Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible additions[edit]

The scope seems to be quite complete under a Canada-as-federal-government-that-emerged-in-1867 definition. Possible additions could be List of elections in the Province of Canada and other election timelines outside of federal Canada, such as pre-1949 Newfoundland.--Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, this could be expanded into several other larger topics:

Elections in Canada and Municipal elections in Canada could be added as overarching articles
...And Canadian electoral system, Canada Elections Act, Electronic voting in Canada, Section Three of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Section Four of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Municipal elections in Canada and Alberta Senate nominee elections could form part of a bigger Elections in Canada topic
List of Canadian federal electoral districts, Historical federal electoral districts of Canada] and the latter's subarticles could form a related topic
Referenda in Canada could be added to a tweaked topic, or act as the main article to another topic
What about Canadian federal election results in Ottawa?
List of Canadian federal parliaments could be added to a tweaked topic as the "results" of the elections
