This page is well written but redundant to the intent of the Guide to deletion. In order to prevent inevitable forking and confusion, I believe these pages should be merged. Either cut the Guide back (because it is admittedly too long for most new users to read) or simply replace it with this page. Rossami (talk) 15:49, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tag A?[edit]

WP:SWAP refers to "Tag A for deletion" which is not defined on that page or anywhere else that I can find. My request for a definition on the discussion page has been ignored, so I am trying to see if it could be defined at Wikipedia:Introduction_to_deletion_process#Some_lingo_and_shortcuts as well as the other page. Proposed changes to "When to not use deletion process?"[edit]

Regarding the section Wikipedia:Introduction to deletion process#When to not use deletion process?:

  • Could someone explain the meaning of the second bullet, "Articles we are not interested in". The "but" implies a contrast that I don't see.
  • I tried to fix the grammar of the third bullet, but it still sounds awkward.
  • The section name should probably not have a trailing question mark

Mass deletion[edit]

Are there any precedents regarding the procedure for a mass deletion of 106 articles? The redirection/inclusion method is technically nice, but serious checking of 106 articles in parallel doesn't make sense in just 7 days - for example. Boud (talk) 19:13, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Boud: There isn't; see WP:TRAINWRECK. That's why that AFD was procedurally kept. — {{ping|ClydeFranklin}} (t/c) 15:13, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
