For infobox templates that already include maplink capabilities, are we including them when you can just do "image_map = {{maplink|xyz}}"? Or with the built-in/automatic capabilities like we both like, or both? ɱ (talk) 22:23, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think the aim should be to have mapframe maps either appearing automatically, or with a simple |mapframe=yes parameter, rather than merely allowing a {{maplink}} template to be manually inserted. - Evad37 [talk] 01:02, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox mapframe auto[edit]

I've updated Module:Infobox mapframe with new auto and autocaption functions so that infobox templates now only need to add a couple of lines to get automatic mapframe functionality.
