Inspiration[edit]

Creating an article called Filming mistakes from That's So Raven might be the saddest thing ever. Who notices these things, let alone compiles them into a list to post to an encyclopedia? GlassCobra 08:52, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Every other person who edits pages at IMDb, the bulk of which seem to be collections of continuity and production trivia that only the most obsessive weirdos would ever even notice much less want to read and write about. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 14:29, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Trash can?[edit]

Wow! Stuff that truly no one cares about? Such stuff must be of real importance. Isn't there a Wikipedia trash can, where one could find such gems? I would especially love to know all about "Notice posted on the corridor of the ground floor at Hietalahdenkatu 7A, Helsinki, Finland" :-D Krungadoren (talk) 22:58, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There actually used to be a fantastic collection of such stuff on Wikipedia once upon a time, but it got WP:MFDed several years ago, because it was felt that too much editorial time was spent finding and archiving hilarious WikiJunk, and perhaps more importantly that it was allegedly encouraging people to create more of it on purpose for the "honor" of their dreck being included in the archive of funny crap. I was sad to see it go, but have to agree with the reasons it had to be put down like a rabid pet. For those reasons, this essay should not have very many examples, or it'll go the same route. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 14:27, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No one cares[edit]

Wow, this page is really helpful! I guess no one would really care if I chucked it? Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 17:43, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not to perambulate the corridors[edit]

The "Notice posted on the corridor of the ground floor at Hietalahdenkatu 7A, Helsinki, Finland" is actually a bad example, because it's world-famous. Many have even memorized it because it's so hilarious. It's perhaps most comparable to the classic "Achtung alles Lookenspeepers!...Gewatchen das Blinkenlichten" computer lab poster and to the fad of "Engrishspotting" as a meme, and is certainly notable enough to be added to some meme article here (and surely already has been). While it's is a good example of something to AfD (like most humorous memes), it's actually a terrible example of "no one really cares". The boots of ascension should probably be used to kick it out of this page and replace it with something more appropriate, perhaps during the hours of repose. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 14:23, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
