Jean-Baptiste Marc Bourgery's Traité complet de l'anatomie de l'homme, comprenant la médicine opératoire (1831) is a massive public domain atlas of surgical anatomy, available online at this site in eight volumes. The drawings (by Nicolas Henri Jacob) are simply stunning, his life's work, and should probably be imported to commons. The text, of course, is rather dated, but historically relevant. A modern reprint includes multilingual versions of the original text, but those translations would not be public domain. If someone is sufficiently ambitious to take on paraphrasing those translations, I have a print copy that I'd be willing to make available.LeadSongDogcome howl! 19:08, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
