Opening mediation[edit]

It seems User:Terry Yager still has issues he would like to discuss, but Uucp believes the original issues have been resolved. So, Terry, I'm not sure if what you would like to discuss are the original issues or other ones, but would you mind giving us an updated list? Thanks! I think the most major problems I have right now is that an estimate should not be presented as if it were a verifiable fact, using weasel wording to 'quote' from another published source, whether a webpage presented as a sub-page of another entity's website can still be considered a 'personal' page, and whether a sexual fetishist cult-publication can be considered an unbiased, reliable, mainstream source of information, especially when they can be shown to have published untrue and/or unlikely information. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Wikipedia's 'No Original Research' policy re-addressed to allow for possible exceptions in cases where there is only a single living witness to events described in the wiki entry.

I am sorry, the mediation was closed due to inactivity some months ago. I should have left a notice here. Would you like to file a new request, or try to continue informally? Either way, Uucp would need to agree in order for mediation to continue. — Armed Blowfish (talk|mail) 20:22, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
