Filmhouse[edit]

Requested article on Edinburgh Filmhouse:

I'm ready to type the article for the Filmhouse, but the article was deleted in 2007. The reason given was that the Filmhouse was a company. This is not the case, it is a Scottish Charity. There is no other problem with notability.

The article would include the past history of Lothian Road Church, as well as future plans for a new Filmhouse, to be named after Sir Sean Connery. The plans were exhibited at the Venice Biennale. Any reactions? Renata (talk) 20:22, 18 June 2008 (UTC) (I'm NOT renata3)[reply]

In which case - please press ahead. Ben MacDui 18:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Archaeology[edit]

Could we have a section on archaeological sites/treasures, I can't see where they would fit e.g. stone circles, artifacts. Lord Spring Onion (talk) 15:18, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think, my liege, that you should feel free to be bold. However, whether anyone is paying much attention is open to question. Ben MacDui 18:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok well.... I guess that refers to the 'quieter' nature of the project that you mentioned on another page. Or the fact that there are a lot of requested articles, and most still have red links? I'll go ahead and be bold, thanks BenMac. Lord Spring Onion (talk) 20:25, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's more that I can't recall much positive action. Thanks for joining WP Scottish Islands btw. There is a similar page there with a fair few blue links, but we tried to prioritise them by putting a shorter list on the main project page. Ben MacDui 08:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Articles Needed[edit]

Following a recent expansion of Wales (see Wikipedia:WikiProject Wales) related content, the creation of similar articles may be of interest to WikiProject Scotland.

List of highest mountains in Scotland and List of highest mountains in Wales for example were both recently published by myself.

Other potential articles could include:

I would be more than happy to collaborate on any of these or others which may be needed. Thanks Titus Gold (talk) 01:22, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
