Could this contest instead create "National Assembly elections" pages since those already exist and there isn't really a need to separate the House and Senate elections in the same state? Contestants could still just put the info for Senate elections while other users (and/or a future contest) could fill in the House results later on. Watercheetah99, I think there's a need to create them separately. See 2020 United States Senate election in Iowa and 2020 United States House of Representatives elections in Iowa. In other words, thanks for the work you did at Wikipedia:Senate Elections in Nigeria Contest/All Articles. Best, —Nnadigoodluck 07:41, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay sounds good, I'll start on a central "2019 Senate elections page." In the future, could contests be made for local government area, House of Representatives, and Houses of Assembly elections? I know it must be difficult to organize the contests but I wanted to ask. Watercheetah99 (talk) 20:35, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to ask if editors could add non-APC and PDP candidates to boxes if they received over 3% of the vote? Watercheetah99 (talk) 20:23, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can editors finish pages? I don't know who is doing this but someone is creating a bunch of pages for the contest but leaving them unfinished. I don't know if they were planning on coming back to finish but stuff like having the correct candidates and parties are pretty important so please return to them. I am currently writing my semester exams since last week up until this week. I'm not disposed to edit my created pages in this contest for now but will definitely get back to completing and standardizing them next week. Mr Grey (talk) 8:01, 7 September 2021

Contest?[edit]

Hello, contest participants,

Please follow all Wikipedia guidelines on creating articles. Games like these can cause to think more about quantity and not quality. For example, red link categories, per WP:REDNO , are not allowed on any Wikipedia pages. Please be sure your articles do not have them or create the categories yourself, ensuring that the new categories fit into the existing Wikipedia category structure. Thank you. Liz Read! • I strongly agree with this statement as not only do many articles have red link categories, large numbers of the pages also lack readily available and vital information like vote totals, candidate names, parties, incumbent names, and pretty much anything required to make an elections page. Constantly over the last few days, editors have created pages with the bare bones before swiftly leaving to the next page, this "quantity over quality" mentality leads to mistakes as several pages have a different election's vote totals. Please return to finish your pages. Watercheetah99 (talk) 05:10, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
