Could someone point out what I'm doing wrong in this signature?[edit]

I made the code for a signature I like, but it is not working. The code is this:

<span style="border-radius:9em;padding:0 5px;background:#3366cc"><b style=color:white>Waddles</b> <b style=color:white>🗩</b> <b style=color:white>🖉</b></span>

...and it appears as this: Waddles 🗩 🖉. When I try to save it, the message "Invalid raw signature. Check HTML tags." comes up. I really like it, so I would like to know if someone could point out any mistakes in it that I missed, since I checked and everything looked fine to me. i mean this is really late and all but if you're still having trouble, maybe try putting quotes for the colors of your icons? like this:
<b style="color:white">🗩</b>
hope this helps! phrogge 'sup? 23:57, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Real-life examples"[edit]

Are all of the "Real-life examples" in the list on this article page approved for use? I recently copied my own signature from a user named @Orduin: and when I asked about it in the Teahouse, the point was raised that, "...the link to your talkpage is unnecesseraly tiny." Am I, or am I not, allowed to use the signature that I now have put together. I like it a lot! Moops T 15:57, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
