Oboes and clarinets[edit]
Thank you for improvements, Dank! We are used to oboes and clarinets together in a symphony orchestra, but it was a "first" for a Mozart piano concerto (don't know about symphonies), - do you have another than saying "both" to point that out? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:41, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think anyone will read "both" and assume "Oh, they're saying "both" because this was the first time that ever happened" (unless they already know that). We could add a sentence ... it wouldn't be wrong to do so, but the length of the TFA is about right, the way it is now. - Dank (push to talk) 12:17, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

- Thank you for thinking. I looked at symphonies: the first where it's mentioned is the Parisian, some years earlier, so let's just drop it and be amazed how long it took to introduce the French fashion to a piano concerto. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:59, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
