Coming back to these or move to Project Page/Notes?[edit]

Are we coming to A's in a future batch, or should these be more moved to the main /moss page for easier collaboration? Maybe link notes by Page Letter and keep links to them under a sub-header on the main page? (If that isn't too much work, of course) I only ask because I wanted to remove one of my notes from a page I got to resolve today and had to get creative to find it. (I don't think it's listed anywhere on the project page, and that's kind of a shame.) Elfabet (talk) 13:23, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Elfabet: We'll definitely be continually coming back to every letter, as there are always new typos being created. I do try to completely empty the page of cases with notes before posting a new batch, to avoid duplicate listings—some with notes and some without. In most cases to increase visibility and keep things tidy I've been trying to do so by tagging the page with {{which lang}} or {{typo help inline}} (which adds the case to Category:Articles with unidentified words) or whatever tag is appropriate, except for words that legitimately need to be added to Wiktionary or Wikispecies, which I move to the appropriate main listing. -- Beland (talk) 16:04, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You/your[edit]

Hi,

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I noticed there are a bunch of articles where the word "you" and "your" are being flagged for correction. I'm not sure what we should be correcting there. Cinnamingirl (talk) 03:44, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cinnamingirl, maybe you now have already seen it, but a new section has been added at the start of the page under quick starts (the index lists it as 1.1 New!) that explains this and some other things, but basically, you/your should not be used as a way to address the reader in an article and should therefore be changed. If the you/your that is there due to some other reason, you can just add a note to it (as you can already see in some of the case notes!) I hope my explanation makes sense :). Mistake in a couple edit summaries[edit]

In the summaries of revisions 960667185 and 960664478 I typed "DOT" where I meant "COMMA", because I'm kinda running on autopilot right now tbh and didn't notice that the autocomplete was wrong. Probably won't cause any problems (especially since the sections I mistakenly referred to don't even exist); however for the sake of absolute clarity I'll post this here — Preceding unsigned comment added by Voidify (talkcontribs) 08:49, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Trajectory of next dump[edit]

(Full disclaimer I'm a noob to this project.) So is the 1 June dump just not done processing yet, or are we waiting for this page to be a certain level of completeness? Reason I ask is all the TS sections are cleared on this page now, and clearing T-number sections requires a greater investment of mental energy per typo than I'm capable of at the moment, so I'm just kind of hovering around making minor edits to fix formatting oversights on this page. Either way my answer will probs be to the effect of "ah ok", since I'm not really in a position to challenge the status quo operation of this project lol, but yeah I'm interested to know whether it's purely a matter of time before there are new TS errors for me to be useful on, or whether the progress of this page plays into it.
