Ultraviolet is written in JS or TS?

Ultraviolet is written in TypeScript, which compiles to JavaScript. The compiled JS is what you see on-wiki. Hope that helps! Remagoxer ^(talk) 11:36, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

Also why you do not use the ultraviolet name, and use the 10nm name? Again, because Ultraviolet is already taken so you may send a rename request which is complicated. Sometimes the username 10nm may be confusing because this is an userscript. Why RedWarn is not a gadget and will Ultraviolet be a gadget in the future? Thingofme (talk) 11:43, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

@Thingofme: The Ultraviolet account is not usurpable globally (since it has edits on other projects). As for gadgetizing: the current interface administrators are against registering gadgets which load JavaScript from non-Wikipedia sources, as seen in our previous gadget request. @Chlod 7 edits in dewiki is an issue, however sometimes global renamers may accept the request because 7 are not too many and the user is inactive for 13 years, but 7 edits are too many because Ultraviolet userscript is too new. For those with rollback permission using RedWarn, the edit summary reads "Rollback edit (s)…", for those without rollback, what is written in the edit summary is "Reverting edit (s)", can't you change it to "Reverted edit (s)? @Ctrlwiki—I'm not a RedWarn developer here, but it might be because "Reverted edit(s)" might just be too similar to other user scripts/diff browsers/standard rollback. Twinkle uses "Reverted (number of) edit(s)", Rollback uses "Reverted edits", to name a few. It could be that RedWarn developers are trying to make more "original", but if they think "Reverted edit(s)" are for the better, they should, by all means, switch it. — 3PPYB6 — TALK — CONTRIBS — 00:44, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

I can’t use the search bar

When I installed RedWarn on Speatle, my screen froze up. I can click on articles, but I can’t use the search bar to go to uninstall it. Edit: Sometimes I can use the search bar now, but sometimes I can’t. Does it just lag it a bit?24.179.74.21 (talk) 12:39, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

I'm assuming that your account is User:Speatle. In that case, edit your common.js (click this link) and remove the first line to uninstall it. It might be a problem with the userscript conflicting with any browser extensions. If you are still unable to edit, add &safemode=1 to the end of the URL to turn JavaScript off. ―sportzpikachu _{my talkcontribs} 01:04, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

@Speatle, it looks like your account hasn't been auto-confirmed which is why RedWarn didn't run. You need to have at least 10 edits for 7 days to be autoconfirmed, so you should be able to use RedWarn in a few days.
