Why this page[edit]

As said in the essay, this is a common argument. It seemed good to have a place to link to when countering these arguments, rather than having to put the whole rationale every time or shorten it to a less intelligible summary. Andrewa (talk) 21:28, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is it even true?[edit]

A noted on the page, the policy is not nearly as well codified as I would like. But with the enormous and growing reluctance of Wikipedians to change any policy (or many other things) however ludicrous, I'm not in a hurry to try to fix it. Andrewa (talk) 21:59, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
