Fraudulent page on WikiPedia on John Oldham (baseball)[edit]

The current page purporting that Oldham is a lefthanded pitcher born in 1984 appears to be a work of fiction. Both Retrosheet http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/MISC/PLD_OL.htm and Baseball-Reference http://www.baseball-reference.com/pl/player_search.cgi?search=john+oldham indicate that the only John Oldhams to ever appear did so during 1956 (John Hardin Oldham, who appeared in one game for the Cincinnati Reds as a pinch runner) and (John Cyrus "Red" Oldham) and from 1916-1926. The Red Oldham wiki page has not been vandalized. The John Oldham (baseball) page for John Hardin Oldham once edited should be watched for further vandalism.McGill1974 (talk) 14:43, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. An editor changed John Oldham (baseball) from a legitimate page into a hoax. I've reverted it. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:03, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
