UEFA Women's Championship

All tournament articles need to be moved from the informal UEFA Women's EURO XXXX. There are guidelines that state that the proper name of each event must be the title of the page e.g. US Open (tennis) should be written as US Open Tennis Championships or United states etc. The tennis example is fine as US open is not a slang name, but Euro whatever is informal and UEFA give the full name of the tournament as UEFA European Women's Championship or the header title would be a better, more formal name of the tournament rather than Women's Euro XXXX — Preceding unsigned comment added by Disability expert (talkcontribs) 12:02, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Yes, I know but it is still not very formal. Should at least be a redirect. BUt then at least the men's version looks as informal as the women's. Disability expert (talk) 17:06, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
My guess is they are named in accordance with WP:UCN. Hmlarson (talk) 18:45, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
