VERBAL AND SEXUAL ABUSE

I have no other means but to bring this issue here, recently from a ip address, an edit had been done at the article of Saina Nehwal, Indian Olympian and famous Badminton player. The edit was nothing but a "Verbal and Sexual abuse" in "Hindi" to defame the sport person, publically. Please if anyone know how to request for the blocking of this ip-address please do it and anyother actions through wikipedia, please do it. Thank you. Dey subrata (talk) 12:40, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

@Dey subrata: - I have warned the editor and hidden the edit. In future you can use WP:AIV to report vandalism. GiantSnowman 12:44, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

Melissa Ortiz

Hi, can someone who knows more about women's football please check Melissa Ortiz. It says that she's a "striker, attacking midfielder, and outside right defender." I'm not saying it's impossible, just unlikely that one player has played, regularly, in all three positions. Red Fiona (talk) 18:11, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

I know what you mean, but I don't see it as being that unlikely. Steph Houghton broke into the England (and GB) team at left-back, but is now a centre-back. I remember her playing in midfield for Leeds and Arsenal, and apparently (according to her article) she started off as a striker. You do occasionally find genuine utility players, like Ruud Gullit for example. In 1995 Chelsea brought him in as a sweeper, but it wasn't an entirely successful experiment and he only started earning his gargantuan wages when he was shunted into midfield. Just before that he'd been thundering about up front for Sampdoria! So I don't really know much about Ortiz (sounds like she was unlucky with the injury 2015/16), but I don't think it's outside the realms of possibility...
