User:Allens PERL program[edit]

I have found User:Allens PERL program for the barnstars, and its output, very interesting and I hope he goes ahead with his second project (GOCE -> featured etc). He should of course receive a barnstar for his work, if he has not already done so. --Greenmaven (talk) 22:54, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Actually, it occurs to me that I first need to add a bit of documentation to the first project/program. I'll then soon be starting work on the second project. Allens (talk | contribs) 23:21, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A rough draft of the first program's documentation is now at User:Allens/GOCE. Allens (talk | contribs) 01:28, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, fantastic. - Dank (push to talk) 01:30, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Grennmaven, for that excellent idea. A "What a Brilliant Idea" barstar has been sent. --Stfg (talk) 10:38, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Election Page[edit]

Will there be a new page created when voting opens? I am not clear whether 'support' refers only to supporting a nomination, or is it effectively an early vote? --Greenmaven (talk) 12:05, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Jack. It is too early to vote, so I have removed the votes and have put a note on the talk page of the user. Thnaks for pointing this out. -- Dianna (talk) 13:48, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Glad I'm not the only one who was confused :-). All the best, Miniapolis (talk) 14:27, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Nominate myself for Idiot Emeritus of the Guild for voting too early, despite the HUGE and CRYSTAL CLEAR instructions not to. Do we have unanimous consensus on this nomination? :-) If not locked up for my own protection, I will return during the proper time and "revote", if that is OK with everyone. Apologies to all! You are not the first to do this (I was;). Your votes have been removed for now. There could still be more nominations -- Dianna (talk) 02:44, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's an easy mistake to make. Perhaps in future elections we could do the nomination phase without Support subsections, and add those at the time of opening the voting. --Stfg (talk) 09:28, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. --Greenmaven (talk) 10:18, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
