Must the listed people be Lincs born?[edit]

According to the criterion that listed people should have been born in Lincs, men such as Bill Newton-Dunn do not qualify though for some years, they may have been significant in the working of the county. Have we got the criterion right? (RJPe (talk) 08:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I’m open to suggestions, but at this moment to have some order and structure (and so as to have some control as it could easily get out of hand), it seems best to keep to those born in the county and at least we can verify it.
Without it we could have someone famous who lived in the county for a short spell or just had a holiday home, and find they lived in the course of their life in several counties, all now laying claim to them being famous.--BSTemple (talk) 16:46, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
