Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... project members have not had any time to discuss what to do with this page. I for one have found the page to be very useful in keeping track of what is happening on math pages that are not in my watchlist. This page goes well beyond just keeping track of additions and deletions and we need some way of keeping its content and functionality. --Bill Cherowitzo (talk) 19:23, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification John. I withdraw my comments.--Bill Cherowitzo (talk) 02:27, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's not the page Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Article alerts, but the header Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Article alerts/Header that is up for speedy deletion. This is per the instructions at the top of the page, that the /header page is deprecated and should be deleted, if its contents can be moved to the page itself. I did that, also updating the link to User:Mathbot/Changes to mathlists as the one to Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Current activity is no longer being updated – it was actually this out of date link that I was looking at when I realised the page should be deleted.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 19:42, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've used <noinclude> to hide the CSD template here so it only appears on the page being deleted.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 19:45, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
