Invite[edit]

Wanted to let you know that WP:BIOGRAPHY has added a "work group" called Politics and government, and so wanted to invite you to participate on any biography-type articles. The section for OK is here and if there's interest, we can beef it up to look like the newly-created Virginia one plange 05:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Raising the importance level on Cherokee Nation Principal Chiefs[edit]

As of time of posting, the current and former principal chiefs of the Cherokee Nation are considered low importance. I disagree with that Assessment. Because of the rising prominence of Tribal Nations within the state of Oklahoma following the McGirt v. Oklahoma decision and the rising level of influence the tribes have in the state. It seems prudent to rise the importance grading to Mid importance. Over course if there are objections to this I will be happy to discuss it.

I am going to start raising the importance level to Mid on some of the Fmr. Principal chiefs of the Cherokee Nation. Trey Wainman (talk) 01:21, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
