This page is to build up the info from the original profile into this better profile to upgrade the Naoko Takeuchi page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hitsuji Kinno (talkcontribs)

I understand, but the upgrade can be done at Wikipedia:WikiProject Sailor Moon/Naoko Takeuchi. When the upgrade is finished, you can move (or merge) Wikipedia:WikiProject Sailor Moon/Naoko Takeuchi to Naoko Takeuchi. There is no need to have this redirect, is there? List of works[edit]

I don't believe there's a need to turn this list into prose, as one of the hidden comments implies. Featured articles for many authors have lists of works, for example, Douglas Adams and Issac Asimov. -Malkinann 02:16, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Updated Biography[edit]

That is a rough, rough. Really bad too... but there are references for all statements made. There needs to be a bit of fixing on chronology, but this should not be too hard. The major references for this are her Punch Series, (all of them which she states are not 100% factual, but loosely based on her life to make humor), Sailor Moon official, all translations by Alex Glover with author notes (she writes about herself quite a bit in the author notes) and her husband herself. Since she rapidly and often changes her website some of the references will have to be pulled from Michelle Bacon's site Manga Style! or the Oracle. Translations of her front page can be found from Alex Glover or Genvid. I generally don't like Genvid because of some of the people on it... (the people in it, not who run it.), but for translations it would be useful.

Note that all stuff about licensing should be kept off of this page. All of the statements so far are rumors and even Jay Novak who wrote the article who inadvertently started the rumor which ran inappropriately wild, states that it's not proper. So keep it off. This article needs tons of help... but I have the outline going. --Hitsuji Kinno 05:19, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding references Question though[edit]

I wanted to know if there would be issues in posting up for this webpage only the original text from an interview from a now defunct website.

I happened to save it and it has several interesting facts that would be useful for referencing that I currently have no access to. I saved it in realization that many pages were going defunct at the time. The archive.org doesn't have a record of it and it's being blocked.

I'm not sure how to proceed... I can post it on Takeuchi-naoko.com... but are there copyright issues? And if so any ideas on how to get in contact with the owner of the text....? It would be the translation into English...

Quotes like: "Miss Takeuchi belonged to the astronomical club in her high school days, and become intimate with astronomy. She set the scientific keywords in her fantastic Sailormoon stories. The keywords spark an interest with children readers and science. She wants information about the astronomical researches and the publications of easy books for children." an the fact she helped greatly with the Great Hanshin Earthquake. It has references that she put in mineral names on purpose. Those kinds of things I think are useful for referencing purposes... (unfortunately the wayback machine corrupts stored Japanese... so I can't reaccess the Japanese text. Anyone know a way around this?)--Hitsuji Kinno 18:51, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
