Deletions[edit]

The deletionist brigade deleted my article on Macleod Mall, identifying it 20 minutes after creation as unencyclopedic. They are currently debating Centre 2000 despite the fact it survived an AfD vote which was to keep it. They've nominated it again as AfD. Is the project interested in helping out the discussion? 139.48.81.98 21:18, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More deletions[edit]

Hi there. I just wanted to inform this WikiProject of the following AfDs:

There may be more. I didn't go though all of the recent AfDs. I notice there were a lot malls listed for some unknown reason, and upon discovering this project I thought you'd like to know. Cheers, Rocket000 02:48, 9 October 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Deletion of ALL Dublin and Ireland Shopping Centre Articles[edit]

Please see Talk:Shopping in Dublin (Sarah777 20:38, 13 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Please note - this article was created with the full intension of mergeing and deleting all the individual shopping centre articles, not simply being an overview article with supporting shopping centre articles. Wide community input is desirable on this issue. Exit2DOS2000TC 00:56, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exit2DOS2000TC ,I had realised that, which is why I came here (you were involved in the Letterkenny debates). The Dublin/Ireland merge/delete decided by a very small number of editors could then be used as a precedent to take the strategy further afield; that is why I want to very considerably broaden this debate, but I'm not sure how, given that few editors, (myself included) have much interest in Shopping Centres/Malls - or at least in writing articles about them. But Wiki is populated by 'minority interest' topics, like life, and a casual disinterested small group with maybe an anti-business prejudice can't just zap them!
