I've listed this article here because I am hoping to get this up to the status of a Good Article but I need major helping doing so. The article is in really bad shape and needs some major work on it. I wish I can get some editors to work on it and maybe help me because I honestly dont think I can get to GA standards on my own. We can have a standard article for other wikipedia projects to translate from seeing how all of them are not up the standards that we have.

2011 Burkina Faso uprising

News reports tend to be very unclear but there is some sore sort of protests/uprising/revolt/revolution going on in Burkina Faso right now, including a curfew on Ouagadougou and some reports that Blaise Compaore has fled. How about an article, 2011 Burkina Faso uprising, based on the French version or its translation here Metaknowledge (talk) 14:49, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Pro-life and right-to-life movements: distinct, same thing?

As part of working on User:Chaos5023/Abortion advocacy movement coverage, I would like some feedback from people who consider themselves reasonably expert on the history of anti-abortion political advocacy in the United States. Specifically, I have encountered assertions that the pro-life movement and right-to-life movement are meaningfully distinct entities, and also assertions that they're the same thing. Can anybody provide me with useful insight into the question of which is the case -- or even, if I may hope, references to support for either position in reliable sources? —chaos5023 (talk) 20:20, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Abortion advocacy movement coverage is now a live RFC. It is now in its structure phase, where its arguments and options are refined before opinions are registered. Please participate! —chaos5023 (talk) 03:48, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Abortion advocacy movement coverage, an RFC that will affect the title of the articles currently titled Support for the legalization of abortion and Opposition to legal abortion if consensus is found in favor of its conclusions, is now in its community feedback phase and ready for editors to register opinions and arguments. Please add your feedback; thanks! —chaos5023 (talk) 15:49, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

New 'Women in the Arab Spring' article

I'm planning on writing a new 'Women in the Arab Spring' article as part of my Poverty, Gender and Human Development course at Rice University. I will add the page to this WikiProject because the Arab Spring is one of the most prominent social movements in recent history. The topic of women in the Arab Spring is not currently discussed in the Arab Spring article or anywhere else on Wikipedia. I plan to cover the role of women before, during, and after the Arab Spring with my article (see the Arab Spring talk page for details) and would greatly appreciate any feedback on my plans. Thanks! Assessment statistics

The assessment statistics box on this page seems to be not working. I added a corresponding section on the WP:SOCIO assessment page, but there is more that needs fixing here... Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 02:00, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Maratha reservation movement

As of now, this deserves an article (passes GNG). The movement has been going on for around five years: plenty of sources. Also, other documented requests redates the events of Maratha Kranti Morcha. I have created a rudimentary draft, and added some sources at Draft talk:Maratha Aarakshan movement#Usable sources. But unfortunately I dont have much experience with creating such articles. Would somebody help me please? But I can work on it with help/collaboration. Also, I can bring in the relevant sources from last 10 years easily.

Once the article is in mainspace/listed by search engines, a lot more people would add to it; and I will handle the issues of POV, adding sources, and other stuff including gnoming. All I need is help in the beginning. Also, I request to continue the discussion on Draft talk:Maratha Aarakshan movement, as I have posted this message to 3-4 different, but mostly inactive, venues. Thanks a lot in advance, —usernamekiran(talk) 19:16, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Some help with Climate movement

Hello, I was wondering if some of you could help improve the Climate movement page. It's quite short and has a disproportionate US focus. It also needs to be assessed on the importance scale. I saw that the civil right movement is low importance, which baffles me completely, so I have no idea what the requirements are for importance in this task force. Thanks in advance!
