This survey has been going on a while, and it seems that most people have voted for inclusion of all, or most, non-canon material. Should this now be regarded as a consensus? Is it allowed to write articles about non-canonical Star Trek characters (except for minor characters with only one appearance)? JIP | Talk 07:36, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why not.--StAkAr Karnak 11:55, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Some beleive non canon should not be allowed as it wu#ould detract from the overall theme of what is supposed to be real in this setting. Also, someone wrote "dwellers in the crucible" as the best novel they have read of al time. This book had two characters, who were not regular, as the main theme, and the story concentrated upon them, more than the regular crew, considering that the stroy about the original cast as wel s the rest of the series are finished, and nothing new will be shown about them, should these type of stories be continued and aowed to be written and printed, if for no other reason that they are good stories? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.133.85.135 (talk) 20:38, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
