Unsigned messages will be ignored, so make sure to include your signature and timestamp by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end. It is suggested that you follow the indentation rules as these are stated in Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines.

Participants in conversations are expected to be civil and avoid personal attacks.

Proposals, which are discussions about important actions or changes affecting the entire project, are not restricted to members of SBS. Keep in mind, however, that simple voting will not suffice; each editor will need to back their preference with an argument. No proposal shall be closed before ten days elapse from its submission, and until at least five people vote (unless too long a time period passes, in which case the proposal automatically fails).

To see previous conversations, you can visit the archives (see box). For archived proposals, please see the relevant page.

When to add a succession box[edit]

Is there a standard when adding a succession box is appropriate? It appears that most US government office holders have a succession box. My efforts to standardize this have been met by reverts and WP:ONUS and WP:OSE. If I'm wrong then I'll stop but I'm trying to get a better answer than I have been receiving.Yousef Raz (talk) 21:51, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

S-boxes on iPad articles[edit]

Hello there! I'm not sure what to do with each of the S-box parameters (especially "Years", "Before" when there is no predecessor, and "After" when there is no successor yet) on the iPad pages. Would someone mind taking a look?

These are the pages I'm talking about:

IPad (1st generation), IPad (2nd generation), IPad (3rd generation), IPad (4th generation), IPad (5th generation), IPad (6th generation), IPad (7th generation), IPad (8th generation),

IPad Air, IPad Air 2, IPad Air (3rd generation), IPad Air (4th generation),

IPad Mini (1st generation), IPad Mini 2, IPad Mini 3, IPad Mini 4, IPad Mini (5th generation)

Thank you. Andibrema (talk) 15:13, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Opportunity to use succession boxes[edit]

I came across February 7 (Eastern Orthodox liturgics) through random page patrol. The links at the top ought to be converted to succession boxes there and in all similar articles. Cheers, {{u|Sdkb}}talk 23:57, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Succession box for organized labor?[edit]

I'm surprised there is no succession box header for positions within organized labor (trade unions, workers' organizations, etc.) I'm certain that many biographies could benefit from this given that many trade unions operate under some form of leadership structure. Perhaps one could be created? Krisgabwoosh (talk) 05:12, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Succession box for holders of Sports titles[edit]

Is it appropriate for succession boxes to be used in the case of individual sports championship titles (eg: The Masters' Golf Tournament winner, The US Open tournament, etc)? Some golf tournaments base their entry on an exemption earned by winning these titles. Thanks. DSH DarkStarHarry (talk) 19:45, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
