US-18 in Michigan[edit]
One Ron Wilbanks, who seems to be very reliable, mentioned that US-18 was planned for what became US-16 in Michigan, with US-16 following M-21 - unfortunately, I can't find the Usenet message where he cites it, just my reference to it on June 26, 2003. Mapsax 23:20, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- The Google Groups archive search is functioning better now, and I found both the message which I was looking for (MessageID: 34E85F6F.8FFE1393@ix.provide.net , February 16, 1998) and a reiteration later in the year (MessageID: 356266F7.E9E18316@ix.provide.net , May 20, 1998).
