missing women biographies from the Black Lunch Table[edit]

Hi @Heathart:, May I assume that the women listed in the table on missing women biographies from the Black Lunch Table have been vetted for notability? Also, I have been look through the list and it looks like they are all living persons. Is that correct? Thanks, WomenArtistUpdates (talk) 18:39, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WomenArtistUpdates:, the list is crowdsourced, so we ask folks to vet them according to the WikiData rules for notability, but when we use the lists, we always tell folks to judge that for themselves. Most of them are, but I have found one or two that are missing enough material to verify their notability. They are not necessarily living persons. Our scope for the project is "visual artists of the African diaspora/Black diaspora" and, this list looks like it was the women of our scope. It too is crowdsourced, so there are lots of living people on it, but also some historical figures. We are always looking to add more historical figures, just a challenge to find those sources to deem them notable when they are hidden in these gaps. Thanks!--Heathart (talk) 16:04, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
