Hi @Hijiri88: Apologies that you didn't hear back sooner, and thanks for writing up those suggested rules. I think the most pressing thing is for us to discourage copyright violations, and I have added "Editors who submit multiple instances of copyright violations may be disqualified from winning the ambassador title." to our rules. You suggested ten articles for the disqualification, though I think that is actually too high; submitting a lower number of major copyright issues should still be grounds for disqualification from ambassadorship, and this wording leaves it flexible enough to evaluate on a case-by-case basis. For rules related to judging, I think we can form a judging guide that will be provided to judges, to describe best practices and to ensure responses to questioning. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs

what?there is'nt a New Logo?like, seriously..... why?[edit]

I am wondering if there will be a new logo for this year’s Asian Month? Until now every Asian Month had a different logo

The wife of a crown prince[edit]

Hi, I was wondering, would the wife of a crown prince (of the State of Kelantan) be notable? Thenumbersline (talk) 21:32, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do articles that were originally a redirect count?[edit]

Per title. The redirect page was created by other editors and never had any content, but is notable enough to have its own article. Will that count towards a new page?   Ganbaruby!  (talk to me) 10:48, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ganbaruby: Yes, it would count! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:04, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Help please.[edit]

I just submitted an article and it is labeled as a draft and waiting to be approved. I went to the fountain tool and tried to pull up the article and it is not there. Please help me as I am apparently doing something wrong and can't figure it out. Thank you. LoveofThousands (talk) 00:23, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @LoveofThousands: I'm afraid only live articles are accepted for WAM; the Fountain tool won't accept drafts. I'll take a look at your draft in the next couple of days and leave you some tips for improvements you can make to make it ready to go live. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 05:16, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh okay, thank you. LoveofThousands (talk) 23:08, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@SuperHamster How are we supposed to submit articles when it says it takes up to 3 months for them to be approved? I'm sorry if i'm being a pain, I just really want a postcard lol LoveofThousands (talk) 19:11, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@LoveofThousands: No need to apologize, that's a valid thing to bring up. Most participants are creating articles without going through the AfC (Articles for Creation) process, but of course this isn't accommodating to our new contributors who cannot create articles outright. In future years I think we'll want to find a few experienced editors who are designated to quickly review drafts that are created for Wikipedia Asian Month.
That being said, I've reviewed your submission with some pointers on things to improve to get it accepted. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 02:49, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Error 500[edit]

Hey all, don't know if this is just temporary or not, but when I click 'Submit Contributions' on this page and get taken to https://tools.wmflabs.org/fountain/editathons/asian-month-2019-en, I get a page that reads "System.InvalidOperationException The view 'Index' or its master was not found or no view engine supports the searched locations. The following locations were searched: ~/Views/Home/Index.aspx ~/Views/Home/Index.ascx ~/Views/Shared/Index.aspx ~/Views/Shared/Index.ascx ~/Views/Home/Index.cshtml ~/Views/Home/Index.vbhtml ~/Views/Shared/Index.cshtml ~/Views/Shared/Index.vbhtml" Geographyinitiative (talk) 04:21, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Welcome message on the main page should also be modified accordingly. At the moment it says that the contest ends on November 30. --Furfur Diskussion 19:02, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed article Ōta Tokitoshi so please give me a score. Please rate Nitobe Tsutō, Nitobe Jūjirō, Nitobe Inao, and Nitobe Denzō (or Nitobe Koretami) articles as much as possible.--稲橋 (talk) 00:24, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Narutolovehinata5:@Sky Harbor:@SuperHamster: Excuse me, please rate these 4 articles if you have time.--稲橋 (talk) 00:00, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think at least the problem of "Less than 300 words / 3,000 bytes" has been cleared.--稲橋 (talk) 00:04, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
