Hello All... First, great idea! Now then, Have any questions? (at the bottom), why should I have to email questions? I feel I should be able to post them directly by using [edit source] so others will not have to ask the same questions and have the person who monitors this having to reply individually. The first question I have is, who owns the photos? I, for one, would be glad to donate a few photos to the cause if this was clearly addressed. For me, there is also a grey area where I am willing to grant Wikipedia exclusive rights under a non-commercial umbrella, yet retain my commercial rights to publish, sell and distribute.

Thank you for your questions! Just to clarify, you can also ask questions here in addition to email. The general rule is that if you take a picture and you upload it to Wikimedia Commons, you still have the rights to the photograph but you agree to license its use to anyone, usually under a Creative Commons license. While you cannot contribute under a license that bans commercial use, you (as the copyright holder) would retain your right to use your pictures for commercial purposes.
