About WORTH (www.worth.com)
Founded in 1992 and originally funded by Fidelity Investments, Worth is a wealth management magazine for high-net-worth individuals. Under its current ownership and a new editor-in-chief, the magazine will reflect a significant redesign in the spring of 2009 with a continued focus on topics related to both wealth creation and wealth management, including philanthropy and passion investments.
Worth’s new editor-in-chief is Richard Bradley. Mr. Bradley is the New York Times-bestselling author of American Son: A Portrait of John F. Kennedy, Jr. (2002), Harvard Rules (2005), and The Greatest Game: The Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Playoff of ‘78(2008). A graduate of Yale College and Harvard University, Bradley has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Vanity Fair and Fortune. Prior to Worth, Bradley served in executive editor roles at 02138, an independent magazine for Harvard alumnae, George, the political magazine founded by John F. Kennedy, Jr., and Regardie’s, a Washington business monthly.
The magazine was purchased in February 2008 by Sandow Media. Founded by Adam I. Sandow in 2002, Sandow Media’s flagship brands include NewBeauty, devoted to comprehensive information about sophisticated beauty treatments and medical procedures, LUXE, a network of luxury home magazines, and Watch Journal, a consumer magazine focused exclusively on high-quality timepieces for both serious collectors and new enthusiasts.
The magazine is headquartered in Manhattan at 58 West 40th Street, New York, NY 10018.
