Zhang Lixiong (Chinese: 张力雄, 21 November 1913 – 2 April 2024) was a Chinese politician, military officer, and supercentenarian.

Biography[edit]

Zhang joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1931 and became a founding major general of the PLA in 1961.[1][2] He served as a deputy in the 4th National People's Congress from 1975 to 1978. He was the last General founder of the Army who participated in The Great Walk 1926.[3]

Zhang died on 2 April 2024, at the age of 110 years, 133 days.[4]
