Ždánice Castle

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is an early Baroque building with later modifications. It dates from around 1700.[6]

The Ždánice Castle was built in the Renaissance style in 1569 on the site of an old fortress. In 1762 and 1789, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style to its current form. The castle is surrounded by a park.[3] Today the castle houses the Vrbas Museum. It is a regional museum founded by local teacher and historian Jakub Vrbas.[2]
