Justine Henin-Hardenne defeated Jelena Dokic in the final, 6–0, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2003 Swisscom Challenge. With the win, Henin-Hardenne replaced Kim Clijsters as the world No. 1.[1][2]
Patty Schnyder was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Dokic.
