The 2024–25 Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team will represent Texas Tech University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Red Raiders are led by second-year coach Grant McCasland, and will play their home games at the United Supermarkets Arena located in Lubbock, Texas.
Previous season
[edit]The Red Raiders finished the 2023–24 season 23–11, 11–7 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for third place. As the No. 4 seed in the Big 12 tournament, they defeated BYU in the quarterfinals, before losing to Houston in the semifinals. The Red Raiders received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 6 seed in the South Region, where they were defeated by NC State in the first round.[1][2]
