2025 New York City Public Advocate election

The 2025 New York City Public Advocate election will be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is running for a third term. However, Jumaane Williams is next in line to be acting mayor if Eric Adams resigns following his indictment.^[1]
