AC Express (Indian Railways)

AC Express trains are fully air-conditioned Superfast Express trains linking major cities in India. The trains have high priority at intersections and are amongst the fastest trains in India. Trains are restricted to a speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) to 130 km/h (81 mph).

The first AC train, Nanda Devi AC Express ran on 1 July 2008, with a maximum speed of 125 km/h (78 mph).
