Abdel Rab Idris (Arabic: عبد الرب إدريس) is a Saudi singer and musician of Hadhrami origin, born in the city of Mukalla.

Career

He studied music in Cairo and sang on Sawt Al Arab Radio. He obtained a doctorate from the Higher Institute of Music in Cairo in 1988 and previously worked in the seventies as a teaching assistant at the Higher Institute of Music in Kuwait. He was appointed head of the Saudi National Music Band in April 2019.[1]
