Alley-oop (skateboarding)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An Alley-oop is an air ollie in which the skateboarder's body moves sideways in the opposite direction to that in which they are rotating. The motion is used to land into lipslides.[1]

It is not known who invented the alley-oop, but nevertheless this trick played a pivotal role in skateboarding's transition from a niche hobby to a mainstream sport.[2]
