Amel Rachedi is a British radio and television presenter, known for her entertainment show, Brunch with Amel.[1]
Early life and background
[edit]Amel Rachedi was born and raised in Llanrumney, Cardiff, Wales. At age 17 she left to pursue her education in London, applying for media-related courses and internships.[2]
Rachedi began her career in the entertainment industry working on various TV productions and live music gigs for ITV, the BBC, and MTV.[citation needed] She served as a tour manager for artists during the UK leg of their tours including for Nicki Minaj.[1] She launched her own online entertainment show Brunch with Amel on the internet radio station Pulse88 and Instagram several years after she arrived in London,[2] where she has interviewed Sean Paul, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, Davido, Keri Hilson,[3] and DJ Cuppy.[4]
In 2021 she was shortlisted for Best Presenter at the UK Entertainment Awards.[5]
