The south campus occupies the former Ancaster Senior Public School building, and the north campus occupies the former Fessenden Elementary School.[4] Frank Panabaker is considered a feeder school for Ancaster High School.

Ancaster Senior Public School was founded in 1968[5] teaching grades 7-8. Fesseden Elementary School was founded in 1959 which taught grades JK-6.
