The bamboo leaf aphid (Astegopteryx bambusae) is an aphid in the superfamily Aphidoidea in the order Hemiptera. It is a true bug and sucks sap from plants. It is similar to Astegopteryx bambucifoliae.

Host plant[edit]

The major host is Bambusa arundinacea Willd.
