Notable alumni[edit]

Tristan Scott Bland Tristan S. Bland, Class of 2000. Voted Class Clown and Least Likely to Succeed. Tristan enrolled at the highly sought after Culinary School at Johnson County Community College immediately after graduating from Augusta High School. He wasn't motivated enough to follow through with becoming a chef and didn't attend a single class. With his father being a well respected P.A. in the medical field in Augusta he wasn't impressed, but was later shocked when he came to visit Tristan in Lawrence,KS seeing his newly built, luxurious 5 bedroom home for the first time. When Steve(Tristan's Father) learned of his success he was so proud but had a lot of questions. In a few short years working for Toyota along with playing and producing music, making custom firearms, and selling homemade food and produce Tristan quickly grossed more than $1M of income. Tristan is still working for Toyota(20+ years) as well as doing all of the side hustles and just finished building an incredible Million Dollar property in the country. Tristan is now considering early retirement, but starting a podcast as well as farming his property to sell produce and making gourmet food for special events at his amazing property could be in the very near future.
