Basia Bonkowski (presenter)

Basia Bonkowski, also known as Basia Rendall, was an Australian TV presenter. Shows she was the presenter of included Rock Around the World (SBS),[1] Continental Drift (SBS),[2] Music Video (Channel 10),[3] and The Big Byte (SBS).[4]

Bonkowski was a published author with Shimmer, a 2009 book about her mother,[5] and Jesse's World, a book on international adoption published in 2005.[6]

Bonkowski was born in Adelaide, one of four children of Polish immigrants. She married Kimble Rendall in 1982 and they have two adopted children. She died on 3 September 2022 from lymphoma.[7][8]
