Benče (Macedonian: Бенче) is a small village located in the region of Porece in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, North Macedonia. It used to be part of the former municipality of Samokov.
Demographics
[edit]The village is attested in the 1467/68 Ottoman tax registry (defter) for the Nahiyah of Kırçova. The village had a total of 63 houses, excluding bachelors (mucerred).[2]
According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 43 inhabitants.[3] Ethnic groups in the village include:[3]
