Best is a compilation album by the German rock band Eloy, released in 1994. It compiles songs from ten different albums Eloy released under the EMI Electrola label during the 1973-1984 period.
The songs were selected by Giannis Koutouvos,[2] a Greek radio producer and journalist, mainly known as the founder of the Greek Metal Hammer magazine, who at the time was working as manager of foreign repertoire for Minos EMI, the Greek division of EMI.[3] Koutouvos chose songs from every 1973-1984 Eloy album except Floating (1974) and Dawn (1976), although Dawn is technically represented by a live version of "The Sun-Song" from the album Live.
The album's artwork was designed by Athena Margeli.
