Bharatiya Janata Party, Puducherry (Tamil: பாரதிய ஜனதா, புதுச்சேரி/ Telugu:భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ, పుదుచ్చేరి/Malayalam: ഭാരതീയ ജനതാ പാർട്ടി, പുതുച്ചേരി, French: Parti Bharatiya Janata, Pondichéry), is the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Indian state of Puducherry. The party's headquarters is located in Pondicherry, the capital of the state. S. Selvaganapathy is currently appointed as the president of BJP, Puducherry.
The party currently holds 1 seat in the Rajya Sabha and no seat in the Lok Sabha from the state. Furthermore, the party has 6 seats in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.

[edit]I believe in Integral Humanism which is the basic philosophy of the Bharatiya Janata Party. I am committed to Nationalism and National Integration, Democracy, Gandhian Socialism, Positive Secularism, (Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava) and Value-based politics. I subscribe to the concept of a Secular state and nation not based on religion. I firmly believe that this task can be achieved by peaceful means alone. I do not observe or recognize untouchability in any shape or form. I am not a member of any other political party. I undertake to abide by the Constitution, Rules and Discipline of the Party.

[edit]BJP never had a MP in Lok Sabha from Puducherry. Puducherry had only one MP in Rajya Sabha, S.Selvaganapathy who is the current MP and president of BJP, State Unit of Puducherry. His term started from October 4, 2021. His term is scheduled to end in October 4, 2027.
