Carhuascancha[1][2] (possibly from Quechua qarwa yellowish / golden / pale / leaf worm, larva of a beetle, kancha enclosure, enclosed place, yard, a frame, or wall that encloses)[3][4] or Tumarinaraju[5] is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru with an elevation of 5,648 metres (18,530 ft)[1] or 5,668 metres (18,596 ft)[5] above sea level. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, Huantar District, and in the Huaraz Province, Huaraz District.[2] Carhuascancha lies north-west of Huantsán.[1]

The Carhuascancha River originates east of the mountain and flows eastwards.[1]
