From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Protestant bishops of the diocese of Dunkeld. From the Glorious Revolution of 1689 until 1731, the bishopric was either sede vacante or administered by Bishop of Edinburgh. When episcopacy was restored in Scotland with the creation of the Scottish Episcopal Church, there was an uninterrupted line of bishops until 1837. In that year, the diocese of Dunkeld was merged with neighbouring dioceses to form the "United Diocese of Fife, Dunkeld and Dunblane".
