Please note that the unofficial final table counts and that winners of the Main Event are excluded (as they have their own category). Alas, pre-1978 final tablists are so excluded as the tournament these years was a winner takes all format. Also note that the Main Event was held six-handed in earlier years (pre-2001) (with the exception of 1990 which also was nine-handed).
